Food For Thought at Botanic Garden

Didn't sleep for the whole night as I couldn't get to sleep and afraid that I'll not be able to wake up early in the morning to meet the girls for breakfast. So I looked like a zombie that day.

can't find an expression better than this. lols

Initially planned to go Rider's Cafe as sok min said their breakfast is good. To our disappointment, they are not open on Monday. Sok min suggested that we'll go to Hatched and again, it is also not open on Monday. What a perfect Monday blues for us! Shoulders slumped in disappointment, yin mei suggested to go Food For Thought at Botanic Garden.

The ambiance there is quite comfy with green plants in each and every table. Most importantly, their price is quite cheap as compared to some other restaurants. $8 to select 3 dishes for your meal. They have toast bread with different flavors of jam, round hash brown, sausage, garlic mushroom, scrambled egg, sunny side up, smoked bacon and salad with tomatoes. Just select any 3 to complete your meal. To add on, you'll need to pay an additional $3. In addition, they are having a 10% discount for the entire June holidays! Each of us ordered an extra dish and its only $9.90 per person.

Their drinks are quite expensive. carbonated drinks selling for around $2 if I nv remember wrongly. Just drink their plain water la, freeflow! haha

Sok Min's breakfast

Yin Mei's breakfast

My breakfast!
By the time was my turn, I'm too lazy to take picture of my food as we were all too hungry. lols. Overall, the food is not extremely good, just average but its a good place to chill with cheap price.
